Apply for Bank Account
It will charge NT$ 300-400 for every processing fee and currency exchange difference by using a foreign credit card. International students are not encouraged to use a foreign credit card for ATM on campus.
International students are encouraged to open an account in local Taiwan Cooperative Bank, providing the following documents:
- Passport
- Alien Resident certificate
Letter of Attorney signed by the Taiwan guardian for the student under 20-years old.
A passbook and a credit card then will be provided afterward.
