Outstanding International Scholar Programs

CYUT has committed to be a globally excellent university. In pursuing such a goal, we cordially invite outstanding scholars from all over the world to join our research teams and to experience the wonderful multi-cultural lives in Taiwan. The ICSC of CYUT promises to provide an internationally friendly environment for visiting scholars in learning, researching, and living on the campus.  

Offered Programs

In order to solicit outstanding international scholars, CYUT offers the following “Outstanding International Scholar Programs”:

1. T. S. Yang Honorary Distinguished Professor—for Nobel Prize Winners, distinguished scholars with members of national academies, or equivalent qualifications, we offer Two Business Class Flight Tickets (for the awardee and his/her spouse) plus the allowance of TWD 150,000~200,000 per year;

2. Honorary Distinguished Chair Professor—for fellows of international academic associations, deans of universities, or equivalent qualifications, we offer Business Class Flight Ticket for the awardee plus the allowance up to TWD 100,000 per year;

3. Honorary Distinguished Professor—for distinguished scholars with outstanding research performance, chairpersons of the department in a university, or equivalent qualifications, we offer One Economic Class Flight Ticket plus allowance up to TWD 50,000 per year.
